Transneft says resumes oil shipping via Novorossiysk after storm

MOSCOW, Jan 17 (PRIME) -- The port of Novorossiysk has resumed oil export shipments as the storm that had been raging since Monday ended, a representative of Transneft told reporters on Thursday.

“The storm abated yesterday and allowed us to resume work in Novorossiysk. Two ships are being loaded with oil and there is one position for diesel fuel,” the person said.

A storm has begun in the port of Kozmino in the Japanese Sea, but a tanker was loaded on schedule before this. The port of Primorsk is working as usual, while the port of Ust-Luga is in a technological break until Friday, the representative added. Both ports are located on the Baltic Sea.
